Meet Emily

At 46, there are some aspects of my life that are totally together and some that are not! I have a successful career as a physician assistant for over 20 years and am a manager to the best group of pediatric clinicians anyone could ask for. I have 2 amazing teenagers that truly are the best humans and being their mom is a gift from God. My 22 year marriage ended in 2022, and that is a work in progress. I have been a Jesus follower since before I can remember as I was raised by two Bible believing parents. I realized early on that faith was my spiritual gift and writing was a physical gift. I have lead worship for over 15 years, written countless devotionals, and previous blogs-but in the last decade, my faith has been tested in unimaginable ways and shaken to the core. (Read My Story). This blog is a space for me to journal my thoughts, doubts, and questions about God as well as document the truths and Word He gives me. These pages will reveal the internal struggle we all have. Real and honest. My hope is that as I write, and you read, we will both be lead back to the cross.
